Autism Genetics, Phase II: Increasing the Representation of Human Diversity
Study Details
The purpose of this research study is to examine genetic risk factors for autism in the African American/black population and how these risk factors are different. This will be done with a comparison to Caucasian/white families who have a child with an autism diagnosis.

Eligibility
1. Participants must be African American/black or Biracial African American ancestry, or Caucasian/white (non-Hispanic)
2. Participants must be 18-36 months old and diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, or showing social and or language delays (Toddler Portion)
or Participant must be 36 months old and diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, or showing social and or language delays ( School Age Portion)
3. Participants must have have at least one biological parent available to participate
