Cortical Network Modulation by Subthalamic Nucleus Deep Brain Stimulation
Study Details
The purpose of this research study is to determine how Parkinson’s disease (PD) and deep brain stimulation changes the function of the brain’s cortex and how these changes relate to behavior.

Eligibility
1. Participants must be 50 to 76 years of age
2. Participants with and without PD are needed (participants without PD will be age and gender matched to someone with PD)
3. Participants with PD must be currently scheduled to get deep brain stimulators (pre-surgical group) or must already have deep brain stimulators (post-surgical group)
Compensation is provided for time and effort in the study (contact the study team for compensation amount).
This study accepts healthy volunteers.
